We like the New York Rangers to defeat the Utah Hockey Club on Thursday for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

New York hasn't been all too great this season. We think that NYR improves over the rest of the year though.

The Rangers are great when they go up against Utah, who were Arizona last year.

They are 7-1 over their L8 games on the road against the Hockey Club.

Utah is just 2-9 over their L11 games this season.

The Hockey Club are also 1-6 over their L7 games played on home ice this year.

Rangers will win tonight.

We like the Portland State Vikings @ Northern Colorado Bears to finish OVER the total on Thursday for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Portland State averages 79.8 points a game so far this year.

The Vikings are 5-2 to the OVER on the road this season as well.

They've also seen the total finish OVER in seven of their L9 games played against UNCO.

Northern Colorado averages even more points than Portland State do -- 83.9 points a game.

The Bears have seen the total go OVER in five straight games played at home (all this season.)

They've also gone OVER the total in 10 out of the 14 games with total lines this year.

This game will go OVER the total as well.
