It doesn’t even appear the Phoenix Suns are trying to win games at this point. They are 0-16 SU in their last 16 games overall and just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games. They came out of the break and promptly were blown out by 13 by a bad Cleveland Cavaliers team.
The Atlanta Hawks are at least trying to win, which is why I’ll lay the 2.5 points with them at home against the Suns tonight. They only lost by 3 to the Pistons in their first game back from the break to show that they are trying.
The Suns are 2-15 ATS when the total is 230 or higher over the last two seasons. Phoenix is 1-8 ATS in road games off six or more consecutive losses this season. Give me the Hawks.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are in a tough spot here, playing on no rest following a 148-147 double OT win over Utah on Friday. Four of their starting five logged 40 minutes or more and I think fatigue will be an issue here against a young and energetic Sacramento team that gave the Warriors a scare at Oracle Arena Thursday night.
The Kings have covered the spread in four straight and seven of their last eight. They shouldn’t be intimated by the 38-20 Thunder, having won two of three meetings on the season including a 131-120 here at Chesapeake Energy Arena back in October.
