The 19th-ranked and undefeated Wisconsin Badgers take on the also undefeated UCF Knights in the Greenbrier Tip-Off. Wisconsin upset Arizona last Friday and then had to hold off UT Rio Grande at home. For the season, the Badgers are putting up 88.4 points a game and are shooting 47.7% from the field and 39.1% from three. On the defensive end, they are giving up 71.2. The UCF Knights are 3-0 this season with a win over ranked Texas A&M. For the season, they are putting up 79.8 points a game on 43.7% shooting from the field and 33% from deep. On the defensive end, they are giving up 73 points a game.  Wisconsin is favored in this matchup but UCF may have the best player on the floor in Keyshawn Hall. Wisconsin gets most off their production from their two guards and has little support off the bench. I like UCF to keep this one close and if not get the upset they will get the cover.

Both of these teams are easily capable of scoring into the 80s in this one. Arizona’s offense is ranked 15th in adjusted offensive efficiency and sixth in adjusted tempo. They love to place at a fast pace which can lead to quick points and a higher scoring game.  Arizona is ninth in the nation, putting up 94.3 points per game. Duke is 29th in the country, averaging 88.5 points per contest. Duke can play with pace also and I like this game to go over the number.

The #12 Duke Blue Devils take on the $17 Arizona Wildcats in what could be the best game of the night. Duke has opened the season winning three of their first four with their loss coming to Kentucky. Arizona is 2-1 this season with their loss coming on the road to Wisconsin. Both teams lost their only game against good competition. Arizona lost by 15 points to Wisconsin, giving up 103 points in the process. Duke probably should have beat Kentucky but they are young and talented and Cooper Flagg can go off at any time Duke’s experienced backcourt will be the difference in this game as they come away with the win.

No. 13 Baylor takes on No. 11 Tennessee for the title of the Bahamas Championship. The Bears are 4-1 overall and needed double overtime and a buzzer beater to take down St. Johns. Tennessee is 5-0 and won easily by 22 over Virginia. Baylor has won four in a row but the last win was a little lucky. Baylor is 3-2 against the spread this season. The Volunteers have earned three wins over mid-major programs and a 20-point win over Louisville on the road. Tennessee is 4-1 against the spread this season and have covered in four straight games. Baylor needed a double-digit comeback  and double overtime to win yesterday and may be a little tired down the stretch in this one. Tennessee likes to wear down their opponents in the paint. Tennessee will look to slow the pace down and use their physicality to further wear down an already tired Baylor team.

This is not a marquee matchup in the Big Ten this weekend. The Purdue Boilermakers have been a train wreck this season, posting a 1-9 overall record and they are just 2-8 ATD. The MSU SPartans are 4-6 overall and ATS this season. Purdue is on a nine-game losing streak and this is their last logical chance to break it this season. The Purdue offense is putting up 17.2 points and 318.6 yards per game. On the defensive side, they are giving up 38.9 points per game which is the fourth worst. Michigan State has had an up and down year as was expected with a new coach and a new quarterback under center. They come into this game having lost three straight. The offense is putting up 19.4 points and 345.5 yards a game. On the defensive side, they are giving up 25.5 points per game. The good news is someone has to win this game. This line seems a little high to me. MSU has won two games in the conference with a winning margin of 7.5 points. Neither defense is very good and both offenses are not explosive enough to take advantage of it. This game could be a track meet with bad defenses or a turtle race with inept offenses. Either way Purdue covers this bg number.
